BMW M Series Cars - Sheer Magic
The BMW M Series was introduced to the non-racing community in 1978. The first M series BMW car was named M1. The first BMW M series car was designed and meant to be used on race tracks than on roads. The model M535i was the first BMW M Series car meant for everyday driving. A point to note here is that several models from the BMW family of cars were modified by the Motor Sports Division of BMW, but not all were labeled M. The first M series car is a 6 cylinder M30 engine named M5351. The sporty seats of the car were manufactured by Recaro. The car has bigger brakes compared to other series. This particular M Series car was sold until 1981.
In 1981 the second generation cars came into the existence. The second generation M series car was powered by S30 engine with 24 cylinders. This M series cars are equipped with power windows that could be operated with the touch of a finger, all doors could be locked at the same time with a single key. It also comes with alloy wheels and fog lamp. In mid 1987 the second generation M Series was replaced by a new car. It came in two types, each with its own engine. The M20 engine named 525i and M30 engine named 535i. The car was a huge success as it became known for its safety. This vehicle was replaced in 1997 by another variant of The BMW M Series which was powered by S62 V8 engine. The 4.9 Liter M Series car was fitted with ABS – Anti Lock Braking System, front side airbags and air conditioning.
The two types of new generation of M series cars are a coupe and a roadster. Both the models are equipped with 6 cylinders 3.2 Liter engine, and has 6 manually handled gears. The vehicle has 18 inch tires and a strengthened front and rear body and suspensions that have been made as if it was a sports car. Also it included leather seats, a music system with 10 speakers and the ability to play CD and MP3 formats. The 2007 model M series cars with powerful V10 engine generate 500 horsepower under the cover. These luxury models deliver an eye catching sexy good looks and well tuned performance.
After the success of BMW M in racing venues and the growing market for high performance sports cars, M series cars was introduced for sale to the public. The very first M-car for sale to the public was the M1, revealed at the Paris Motor Show in 1978. The M1 cars resembled like a racecar rather than an everyday use. In 1979 BMW changed its direction and released the M535i which was a high performance mid seized sedan categorized in BMW’s 5 Series cars. Since 1978, M series car has offered modified versions of nearly every car on BMW’s production line. To this day BMW M series produces well tuned car with seer performance. BMW M series offers different models with modified engines, interior and exterior design, aerodynamics and suspension. The intention of BMW M series cars is to sell sports look cars from factory production that are comfortable enough for everyday driving with uncompromised performance and satisfaction.
